Josh Slates (PRODUCER / DIRECTOR) is the writer, producer and director of over twenty short films and videos. He is also the editor and publisher of “Travels Through Elsewhere Cinema,” a continuing journal of below-radar, sub-hipster foreign and cult cinema that is distributed by Atomic Books.

Leah Liu (CO-WRITER / CO-STAR) is a former runway model who hails from mainland China (by way of Columbus, Ohio). She brings her mastery of wing chun and the Mandarin language to the production, as well as a photographic memory for Hong Kong cinema trivia. She currently attends Johns Hopkins University.

Boson Au (CO-WRITER / CO-STAR) is a "modern day epicurean" based in Baltimore. He authored all of the Cantonese dialogue but did not bring any mastery of martial-arts to the production. He is, however, a modern master of the pratfall!

Jen Cho (CO-STAR) is a fashion designer based in Brooklyn. She learned phonetic Mandarin and t’ai chi boxing in one day.

Hari (CO-STAR) is an actress and one of New York City’s most sought-after ADR artists; her fake orgasms have graced such films as “A Dirty Shame” and “Prime.”

Elke Wardlaw (CO-STAR) is Baltimore’s foremost vegan baker. She doesn’t speak a lick of Japanese in real life.

Ayako Tsuji (CO-WRITER) authored all of the film’s Japanese dialogue. She resides in Hawaii and hates Morning Musume.

Kim Chi (MUSIC) is a Korean-language music troupe based in Columbia, Missouri. They are comprised of MC Kim, MC Chi and their turntable master, DJ BiBimBop ... [www.kimchirocks.com]

Rachel Anne Warren (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER / CO-STAR) is an actress and vocalist who recently won raves from “The Washington Post” for her performance in David Mamet’s “Boston Marriage” at the Source Theatre.

Spoon Popkin (COSTUME DESIGNER) and Mr. Slates spent over a year researching contemporary Japanese street fashion and costume-play fabrication before undertaking this production.

Chris Calabrese (OPENING TITLE DESIGN) put a lot of love (and spray paint) into the opening credits. He also performs with Fishnet Stalkers and Fascist Fascist.

Song Hia (CO-STAR) is an aspiring competitive eater. He develops online public school curriculum and is an assistant producer for NPR until he establishes himself by finishing the ten pound burger. [email]
